Beverley Boorer lives on a hobby farm situated on the Mid-North Coast of NSW, with her husband and one of her three grown children.

She has had two children's books published: 

• a chapter book called Shugg's Pet Octopus and
  
  

• a picture book, How Many Dogs in the House? which has now been translated into Korean. 

She has also had several short stories published by the NSW school magazine and is the author of an ebook entitled Easy Gardening.

Other writing credits include craft articles for Handmade and the Australian Woodworker and poetry published in Imaginative Poetry (Ready-Ed Publications).

Beverley is kept busy writing various articles for her clients and occasionally helps The Book Company create picture books that are sold internationally.
