Doris (DJ) Stutley lives in Perth Western Australia with her husband and a variety of pets.

Her first book, Operation Foxtrot Five, was published in 2001 and numerous high schools purchased class sets for their required reading list. Operation Delta Bravo came out the following year, and was soon followed by Operation Alpha Papa.

Doris enjoys visiting schools, especially one of the local schools who have taken book 1 on with the year 8's, book 2 with the year 9's, and book 3 with the year tens. 

After taking a break for a few years, she is back working on the Operation series as well as trying her hand with picture books.
