Author of the Max Remy Series
When Deb was a small child, she spent most of her time imagining she was on great adventures all over the world.
She then grew older, bought a backpack and a plane ticket and went on them for real. She slept beside alligators in Zaire, sailed down canals in Venice and was thrown in jail by heavily armed military men in Nigeria before bribing her way out.
After 3 years she came home, spent 7 years producing and writing the kids' show Cheez TV for Network TEN before leaving to write novels about a girl spy called Max Remy who goes on lots of adventures all over the world.
Deb's also written 3 books about Jasper Zammit (Soccer Legend) with Australia's own soccer legend, Johnny Warren. Her latest book, The Remarkable Secret of Aurelie Bonhoffen, was inspired by her Nanna's stories about friendly ghosts.
